Introduction to Using Technology in the Chinese Language Classroom

This workshop will introduce participants to technologies that can be used to enhance learning in K–12 classrooms. Resources, including a Jeopardy game template, a great number of Chinese language resources such as cartoons and Chinese idioms (成语故事), will be introduced. Participants will have time to experiment with these tools and resources, finding ways to use them in their own classrooms. This workshop is taught by Dr. Zhen Zou, from the Department of Asian Languages and Literatures and CLA Language Center at the University of Minnesota.

Enrollment is limited to 24 participants. To register, call (612) 625-5080 or e-mail with your name, email address, phone number and the title of the course(s) you would like to attend. Advance registration is required. Confirmation of registration will happen on a rolling basis.
