Music as a Tool for Creating Mandarin Language Classes

This is a learn-by-doing workshop where participants listen to songs from the Musical Mandarin CDs and learn the movements and corresponding classroom activities which complement each song. These songs and activities have been taught to K-12 learners as well as adults and preschoolers in various educational settings such as public and private schools, immersion programs, weekend schools and Montessori programs. The activities add a new dimension to Chinese language classes and enhance student interest. Administrators, teachers and parents are welcome to attend.
